advanced armor anyone had ever seen. Many other youths were selected for
the Spartan Project, Seventy-Five in all. They all trained together and
became great warriors. Some however did not survive the Biological
enhancement. They became horrible freaks and were left behind in the
lab. The rest were given the MJOLNIR armor, trained to use it, and then
sent on missions with the Master Chief as their leader. After thousands of
successful missions the Spartans' time had run out. They had to defend
Reach from the Covenant. Half of the Spartan force was sent to the planet,
and the others were sent to board a covenant ship and seize control. While
they were on the planet the Covenant destroyed it and those Spartans didn't have
a chance. The Master Chief was the only one to survive boarding the
