Multi-Player

Halo's Multi-Player is the greatest Multi-Player I have ever seen. Using the Xbox's built in Networking port and a HUB you can play up to 16 people in the same game. The carnage is incredible. You can play using the pre-made games or you can customize your own way to waste all your friends. To customize a game-type go to Multi-Player and then edit game-type at the bottom. Here are a few of my favorite game-types that my friends and I have Created.

Pistols at Dawn
Pistols at Dawn is a game that requires a certain level of skill. You use no shields with 100% health. The only weapon you use is the Pistol and head shots are the most effective. You re-spawn and usually you can get 10 rounds off before you are killed and hopefully you can manage to kill a few people or you're going to be at the bottom of the Post Game Carnage Report. The arena that we play this at is Hang 'em High. To win you need 50 Kills. I once won with 50 kills and 50 deaths.

Rockets at Dawn
Rockets at Dawn is a game where you use the Rocket Launcher obviously. We play up to 25 Kills and we play it at Prisoner. Always remember to shoot when you re-spawn and to go to the cage when ever possible. Most of the time you end up shooting at dead bodies or even rocket launchers flying across the map.

Capture-the-Flag
A normal capture-the-flag, but with the only vehicles are Warthogs. To win you need 5 captures. This game MUST be played at Blood Gulch. Any other levels are to big or to small. These games take us about 3 hours a piece and they are always very close at the end. One person always gets over 200 kills and I end up with an enormous number of deaths.

Shotguns
You've guessed it all ready, you can only use the shotgun. Except for that it's a regular Slayer up to 15. The best places to play this game is at Longest and Wizard. Don't play it at a big level because it will be really boring.

Ah! The Burn
This is frequently yelled by dying Marines when the Covenant is wasting them. For this game you only use Covenant Weapons. All your health is the same as normal. The best place to play is at Battle Creek. Hide under the water and wait for someone to go past.

WWII
What is sounds like, war. It is a team Slayer where the only vehicle you can use is Warthog. The only weapons you can use are the Assault Riffle and Grenades. It goes up to 25 kills and it is also fun if you turn it into a capture-the-flag game up to 3 or 5 captures. Best levels to play at are Blood Gulch and Prisoner. With 8 people playing this game at Prisoner the only thing you hear is the incessant crackling of automatic fire. It's a good sound.

These are the games that my friends and I spend our weekends on so maybe you will to. Don't ever play at Chiron TL-34. It is the worst map ever to be created. Never play there.
